Modular backwater chamber

In a modular design

A backwater chamber in front of the building offers significant advantages. It enables all drainage points that are at risk of backwater to be safeguarded outside the building at a single central and maintenance-friendly point. Noise nuisance, for example due to pumps or similar, can be ruled out and there is no loss of living space in the building.

Modular backwater chambers consist of a technical module and a chamber module. These are available in different heights and therefore allow an exact adaptation to the individual circumstances.

Modular backwater chambers are available for different installation depths up to 3,348 mm, with upper sections made of grey iron or stainless steel and for different load classes. Several versions are suitable for underground installation and others for floor slab installation.

Advantages  Article overview

Retrofittable

The standard option is to install the Staufix SWA, Staufix FKA backwater valves and the Pumpfix F backwater pumping station – and this can even be done subsequently many years later.

Double use

The backwater chamber can simultaneously be used as a transition chamber – with two side inlets for the drainage of the building, roof and yard.

Design

Thanks to its modular design with a technical module as well as a large selection of chamber modules and upper sections, the modular backwater chamber can be adapted to suit any individual installation situation. Frost-free installation up to a depth of 3,000 mm.
