The Ecolift is the clever alternative to a conventional lifting station. The hybrid lifting station pumps only when it is really necessary – in the event of backwater. Otherwise, the Ecolift simply makes use of the natural gradient to the sewer. This, of course, saves energy. Since it only rarely runs, it also does not need as much maintenance. It is also more reliable because it works without any power as it makes use of the gradient – unlike conventional lifting stations.
The Ecolift is available in the nominal sizes DN 100 (Ø 110 mm), DN 125 (Ø 125 mm), DN 150 (Ø 160 mm) and DN 200 (Ø 200 mm) as well as for installation in an exposed drainage pipe or floor slab. The latter version is optionally available with a black or tileable cover.
Direct drainage
Hybrid lifting stations use direct drainage, the natural slope to the sewer. Wastewater is only disposed of by a pump in the event of backwater. This direct route is economical, safe and quiet because hybrid lifting stations work most of the time without power and always without interruptions in operation. They have significantly lower pump wear and only make pump noise in an emergency.
Installation kit for the floor slab
The Ecolift is available for floor slab installation and can also be installed in waterproof concrete by using an extension piece with a central flange and an elastomer waterproofing membrane. The integrated drainage function ensures that any surface water that arises, for example due to a pipe break, will be pumped into the sewer despite there being backwater.
Self-diagnosis system
The system has a plug-in ready Comfort control unit with the self-diagnosis system SDS, a display for showing the operating status and maintenance information as well as a connection option for centralised control systems. It can be connected without the need for an electrician.
Sustainability confirmed by experts
The Ecolift's energy consumption is 90% lower compared to conventional lifting stations and, at the same time, higher operational reliability is also convincing for sustainability experts: At the DGNB Sustainability Challenge, the annual prize competition run by the German Society for Sustainable Building, our hybrid lifting station was ranked among the top 3 product and service innovations of the year. This confirms to us that the “direct route” is the right one!
